I couldn't begin to tell you how much your father meant to all of the Little League players of my era. He was Mr. Baseball to us. I just wish I could have played for him. But even if you didn't play for Tuffy, you would always learned something playing against him. He would coach hard, compete...and most times win, but what I remember most is the pat on the back that he gave to every opposing player after the game. Always encouraging, always positive.
Tuffy will be missed!
