Condolences from the Colbert Family of Evans Mills. We shared some wonderful times up at the Little Blue Hunting Club and at Ham's Inn when I was growing up. Corkie was a unique man of tremendous character. I frequently did not fully understand what was happening but I was never bored when Corkie was in the vicinity. My experiences with him served me well later on in the Army and in life.

I worked with Cork for many of those years. Accept my deepest sympathy that he passed away. I hope that you can remember all of the good times that you had. 49 years is a good long marriage.
My first wife passed away after 28 years and as sad as the loss was I am grateful for the time we had. No matter how long it was, it wasn't long enough...
I had many good times with Cork at work. He had a great sense of humor and could keep me laughing. That's the part i'll try to remember.
Again, sorry for your loss.
Bob

so sorry to hear about one of my favorite "story" tellers. i started on the rr in 1976 and cork was one of the best. he made me feel welcome and trusted me to help him get his job done safely and quickly. always pleasant and fun to work with. he would of hated things the wat they are now. its a shame to lose him so soon. He was a great guy and i missed him when he retired. i am glad that some of the guys tell me about the people that were such a big part of my career .
