Obituary of Donald J. Walters

NORWOOD—There will be no calling hours or funeral services for 87 year old Donald J. Walters, 16 Whitney Street, Norwood. Mr. Walters passed away on Sunday afternoon at his home. Donald is survived by his sons, Kevin Walters, Potsdam; Greg Walters, South Carolina; his three daughters, Kamie and Kent Compo, Brasher Falls, Ginger Lawrence and Tina Phillips, Massena and Rebecca and Timothy Flint, Potsdam and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donald was pre-deceased by all of his brothers and sisters. Born in Russell on July 8, 1925 to the late Fred and Grace Fifield Walters, a marriage ended in divorce. He worked at Reynolds Metals in Massena for 30 plus years as a dolly operator and also worked as a roofer for many years also. He was an avid racer, racing Dirt and Stock cars locally.
