To all of Uncle Don's family, I know how tough it is and wish you ALL the best in getting through his loss. I remember great times with him - he was larger than life to me. Whenever we came home, it was fun being around his place and all the kids. Uncle Don, my dad and some of us kids would travel the roads and find some good fishing spots then stop and find some wild leeks in the woods. Boy, was that a fun time!! Rest in Peace Uncle Don.

I am sorry for your loss. I met your dad a few weeks ago when he when he went to the Norwood bank and forgot the time change. He was trying to walk back home through my yard. My neighbor and I assisted him for coffee, then took him to the bank and home.
It was a nice morning to help a stranger and become a friend. That man you called DAD.

I am so sorry to hear of Donny's passing. I will hold great memories of him walking out to the garden each spring. I have used his gardening advice for years. I loved hearing stories of all the canning that was done in his household when his children were young, and about his stock car racing days. He always reminded me of my own uncle who grew up in the Adirondacks and was interested in the same things. Don was a generous neighbor who carried on a great conversation. He was visiting with me at my garden this past summer when I received news of my own father's imminent passing. I will certainly miss having him down the street. My condolences to all the family. Sincerely, Romi, Liza, Schuyler, Jorji, Brook, Bekk, and Anneke
