I was so sad to hear of Francis passing, I'm the son of Brenda and Edward Boyce from Boyce's general store in South Colton...
I remember bumping into Francis there and remembered all the funny things he used to say to me. He barely knew me but because of association with my parents he made me feel as though he was a family member. I'd walk in and see him and say "Francis! how the heck are ya?!" and he'd say "I'm holdin' up kid! how bout you?!"
Francis had a personality bigger than life and I just wanted your family to know he had an impact on my life.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time
sincerely

I know you will not know my name, but I am Wally and Kathleen McKinney's daughter. I am so sorry to hear this, Mom talked about the two of you often. It sure seems funny to me that my Mom passed away Monday morning, and I guess she wanted company on her journey, she always was a talker. Now there are two more angels in heaven, just hope they are behaving....
