Val was a very active member of the Norwood Congregational Church in the years I served there. She was always encouraging, generous in praise, and as Church Clerk kept us organized. I always enjoyed dining with the Haggett's and visiting in their home. She and Bob were treasured friends. Rev. Walter Smith
