I saw Jim in the Walmart parking lot about two months ago and we had a wonderful visit. I had not seen him in quite awhile. He always attended my boys birthday parties and enjoyed many family get togethers with him. I still have the silver plate that Jim gave them when they were babies. Jim was such a kind and wonderful person, always thought of others. RIp Jim, you will truly be missed

Jim always looked for the best in people, because he was the best of people. He was a very educated man yet sometimes we laughed about where his common sense went. One time my son Matt (who was five at the time) convinced Jim to go out back and look on the lawn for Matt’s lost contact. When they came in I asked Jim what they were doing. Jim said looking for Matt’s contact lens. I said Matt doesn’t wear contacts. Jim’s response was how did he know how to put the contact in his eyes. I told him Matt’s cousin who is 16 does wear contacts and Matt watched her. Jim was definitely of pure heart only wanting the best for others. He always came to our family’s holiday functions. Things will never be the same. Rest In Peace.
Mary Chris Jones and family.

So glad that I had the opportunity to know Jim. We have known each other since we were young children. In elementary school Jim and I were tap dance partners. Later on in high school we were Godparents for Jeffrey Jones. The last time I saw Jim Was at Jeff's funeral in 2018. He and my husband had a wonderful talk and we did some catching up. He will be missed and it was my pleasure to have known him.

So sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Although I didn't see him often in the past few years, when we did run into each other it was always a fun & lively conversation. RIP

Dan and David and family,
We always enjoyed when Jim would come and visit my grandmother Mary in Ogdensburg. Such a happy man, full of joy and life. You couldnt help smile when he was around.
I am so sorry to hear of his sudden passing- and it made me reflect on the generations before (Uncle Cy, my grandmother, Aunt Doris, my grandfather Sam) who had gone before. We cherish all of their memories. God bless you all. Jude

Jim was one of the most amazing men you could ever meet. He became a big part of our family. He especially loved the children and watching them grow. He would do anything for anybody. He loved coming to our get-togethers......he would bring a take home container and look forward to the cupcakes with peanut butter frosting!! He was a huge part of our family. Everyone that knew him knew what an amazing man he was! We will greatly miss him. We loved him with all our hearts❤️❤️
