PARISHVILLE – A prayer service with Military Honors for Roger A. Taylor, 74, a resident of 639 Picketville Road, Parishville, will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the O'Neil Memorial Park also known as Amvets Memorial Park in Parishville, with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Directly following the service, the Celebration of Life gathering will be at the Amvets Hall on Rutman Road. Roger passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the Samaritan Keep Home in Watertown after a brief stay. Roger is survived by his longtime companion, Robin; three children, Anita, Roger Jr., and Gerald; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Born in Potsdam, NY, on July 7, 1950, to the late Gerald E. and Dorothy M. Bradish Taylor, Roger worked as a laborer for St. Lawrence County. He was a member of the Parishville Fire Department, where he was a past Assistant Fire Chief, a member of the Norwood American Legion, and in his free time, loved the outdoors, hunting and trapping.
