Q: How did you meet Roger?
A: We were very saddened to learn of Roger's passing. Roger was the first person we met when we looked at a house on Scovil Rd. He assured us that Scovil road, although all dirt at that time, was well maintained even in winter. That was all we needed to know so we bought the house . We plan to move there permanently this coming July and looked forward to having Roger as our neighbor; sadly that won't happen. We always stopped to chat when we saw him outside his place. He filled us in on some local history, recent bear sightings and kept an eye on our house when we weren't there. We will greatly miss not seeing him. Our condolences to his family. Sincerely, Roy and Jackie Rowland soon to be at 179 Scovil Rd

To Roger's family
Roger used to stop often when we were outside. Frank & I enjoyed his visits very much. We will miss him. He was a very dedicated husband to his ill wife in the nursing home May he rest in peace.

I remember that Uncle Roger always carried this photo of me, Leon and Marc when we were little. The last time I saw him, he even showed me that photo and I was probably about 45 years old. Love you, Uncle Roger!

To Roger's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure that fond memories will serve you well. Enjoyed our random chats over the years did Roger and I. We would often run into one another at one Stewarts or another.. We always talked about trout fishing and Cold Brook whatever else we talked about. We were fond of one another.
God Bless you all.

To Roger's family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. He was a friend of my husband and would stop in now and again to " shoot the bull and catch up". He was a good man. Now he can "shoot the bull and catch up" with him in heaven. RIP Roger.
