I recieved the news of Doc's passing a few days ago. When I hear the word "Gentleman", I think of him first. Doc was in every sense, a gentleman. He was a good and decent man, compassionate and genuine. I spent time with him at the Valiant Air Command in Titusville for many years, and grew to not only know him, but greatly admire his genuine friendship, his no strings, no drama friendship was unique, and I will miss him. Everyone will miss him. Happy Landings my friend, God Bless you and your family. Chris Bohan

Louise and family,
I was saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. We had many good times playing with the old trucks. It’s still a fond memory of mine moving his old Mack dump truck with my old Mack from Colton to the mechanic. He gave me a hat with ‘ NFT - No Fear Trucking’ embroidered on it after that truck move. The name he chose for us and I’ll cherish that hat reminding me of those days. He will be missed. RIP Rob, NFT.

I remember him as a veterinarian and got to know him better though the book he wrote of his life. It was wonderful and funny. My sympathy goes out to the family for their loss of a good man.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Bob this morning. His smile and dry humor will be missed. My fondest memories with Bob were playing golf with his neighbor Ron and his brother Roy.
My wife and I will plant a tree this summer, honoring Bob and his impact on the Northern NY community.
Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the love of his life, Louise and the entire family.
