Dear Nancy , Diane, Andy and families
Sorry for your loss. May fond memories serve you well. One of my earliest memories of Steve was circa 1960 when I was 10 and he was 20. We were among the first to come across a horrible car accident on 56 between St. Paul's and Seavers' Inn. Without hesitation and in the most unclean of situations, Steve rushed to perform mouth to mouth resuscitation on one of the victims.
Best ,

Nancy, Andy, Adam & Families,
Steve was a neighbor to Frank, then a neighbor to us for years. He was nicknamed peewee when he was much younger and small for his age. He always walked for miles most every day which made him a strong robust young man. Steve always had time to stop & visit when passing our home. Thoughts & Prayers for all the family.

Steve was the best father-in-law in the world, he will forever be in my heart. So many wonderful memories we shared.
Best grandpa by far to all his grand kids. I will cherish all the laughs we had together while eating breakfast just looking out the window at all the snow. So grateful God chose me to be your daughter in law. May you rest in Gods kingdom and please keep an eye out on all of us that love you.

Steve was a favorite colleague of mind when we taught 5th grade together at Lawrence Avenue. He was a kind hearted gentleman with a quick wit and sense of humor. He cared deeply for his students and always wanted the best for them. It was a privilege to call him a friend. The O’Flahertys send condolences to Nancy and his beautiful family. Rest In Peace, Steve.
