I met David in Anchorage Alaska. I was new to Alaska and David was one of the first people to befriend me. I still have the backpack he gave me. We met in 08. He was kind to strangers and always willing to lend a hand. He would go down to the docks and get a trunk load of crab to cook for everyone. I'm sad to hear of his passing. He was one of those original kind of people that no one ever forgets
