Obituary of Michelle A. Mills

PIERREPONT – Funeral services for 50 year old Michelle Ann Mills, a resident of Hanson Road and Old State Road, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Pastor Helen St. Louis presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Michelle passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2018. Michelle is survived by her companion Kevin LaBrake, Pierrepont; her four beloved sons, Jedediah LaBrake, 16 and her triplet sons, Wyatt, Todd and Hunter LaBrake, 12; her father, Judson B. Mills; Pierrepont; a brother Judson and Rachel Mills Jr., Colton and her sister, Melanie Mills, Pierrepont as well as her extended family of several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Michelle was pre-deceased by her mother, Judy Mills in 2013. Born in Potsdam, NY on March 10, 1968 to Judson B. and Judy L Sweet Mills, Michelle graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 1986 and attended both SUNY Plattsburgh and SUNY Potsdam, obtaining a master's degree in special education. Michelle taught at several school districts including Malone, Auburn, St. Regis Falls, Gouverneur and most recently, Edwards-Knox until she took a leave due to her health. She loved her kids and school and in her free time, Michelle had a passion for the outdoors. She enjoyed camping and hunting. Michelle loved to spend time with her family, especially her children and enjoyed finding time to read.
