NORWOOD— Private graveside services for 88 year old Laura D. Fullerton, a resident of the Maplewood Campus in Canton and formerly of Baldwin Acres and 242 Lakeshore Drive, Norwood, will be held at the convenience of the family in the Riverside Cemetery in Norwood with Rev. Judith VanKennen presiding. Mrs. Fullerton passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Laura is survived by her husband of 69 years, Maurice Fullerton, Maplewood, Canton; her four children: Thomas and Cherie Fullerton, Springvale, ME; Barbara and Richard Barish, Norwood; John and Gretchen Fullerton, Norwood and Kevin Fullerton and his companion Nicole Adner, Norwood. Laura is also survived by her six grandchildren: Louise, Emily, Heidi, Benjamin, Sarah and Sommer, her seven great-grandchildren: Gracie, Gavin, Ferne, Dakota, Rayna, Brianne, Paul; and her sister, Esther Charlebois. Laura was pre-deceased by her parents and two sisters, Thena Tromboli and Mary Embury.
Born in Raymondville, NY on May 6, 1930 to the late Roy C. and Ida Munson Grandy, Laura married Maurice K. Fullerton on October 15, 1949. Laura was a homemaker and also worked at the Wedgewood Motel for several years. Laura was devoted for over 50 years to helping with the Norwood-Norfolk-Raymondville Outreach Center and enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, crocheting and most of all, spending time with her family.
