I worked with Alice at Clarkson back in the 90's and remember her as a very strong woman, dedicated to putting out the best food for those students and working harder than everyone else. If Alice made it we knew it would be good! If my memory is correct, she was the one who prepared the "best chicken and biscuits" that singer Mark McGrath (he was at Clarkson with his band Sugar Ray at the time) had ever had, and he made sure to let her know. She was tickled at the compliment, even though she had no idea who he was! My condolences to the family.
