CHASE MILLS—Funeral Services for 38 year old Jason J. O'Leary, a resident of Chase Mills, will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Pastor George Middleton of the North Side Community Church in Massena presiding. Burial will follow the services in the Bixby Cemetery in Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the funeral. Mr. O'Leary passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the University of Vermont Medical Center following complications with diabetes.
Jason is survived by his mother, Nancy Laramay-O'Leary, Chase Mills; two sons, Noah O'Leary, Norfolk; Ethan O'Leary, Massena; a brother Jeremy O'Leary and Rachael Shyne, Norfolk; five sisters, Lisa O'Leary-Tessier and Joshua, Ft. Wayne, IN; Heather and Ervin Caballes, Denver, CO; Sara Perry and Mark Donnelly, Chase Mills; Amber and Chris Vangello, Potsdam; Katie O'Leary, Norfolk; his paternal grand-parents, Bernard and Gladys O'Leary, Madrid as well as his nieces, nephews and cousins. Jason was pre-deceased by his father Joseph and his maternal grandparents Richard and Irene Laramay.
Born in Rochester, NY on January 3, 1978 to Joseph O'Leary and Nancy Laramay-O'Leary, Jason was self-employed, working for various people and companies. He loved fishing and had a passion for cars. Jason also enjoyed working out, but his true love was for his family and his children. He had a caring and big heart, willing to help anyone.
