NORFOLK Funeral services for 87 year old Mary E. Eurto, of 1576 County Route 38, Norfolk, will be held Saturday at 10 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Mrs. Eurto passed away Tuesday morning at home.
Mrs. Eurto is survived by two sons, Gary Eurto, Norfolk and his companion Jane Ward, and Donald and Susan Eurto of Massena and two daughters, Mrs. James Marie Sheets, Massena and Mrs. Stephen Brenda West, Athens, Ohio and a daughter-in-law Bertha Eurto of Connecticut. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her brothers Paul and Jane Ryan, Alabama; Harold and Mary Ryan, Waddington; Harry and Linda Ryan, Norfolk; and William and Pat Ryan, New Hampshire and her sisters Mrs. Lillian Casler, Syracuse; Mrs. Sidney Nellie Beaulieu, Massena; Shirley Ryan, Norfolk; Mrs. Lloyd Maude Simon, Fort Edwards and Mrs. Andy Claudia Barber, Norfolk. and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son Lloyd, a brother Francis Ryan and a sister Pauline Murray.
Born on May 10, 1921 in Norfolk to Floyd and Marion Gooshau Ryan, she married Leon Eurto on February 25, 1941. He passed away on January 12, 1994. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation and a member of their Alter and Rosary Society. She loved reading and spending time with her family.
