Jon and Tracy Underwood posted a condolence
In trying to locate an address this morning for Reg, I was saddened to see that he had passed away. Jon had stayed at Stowe Bay for 2 summers while he was working on a job at SUNY Potsdam. I used to make the commute from Fort Drum many nights to visit instead of coming home. It was a beautiful place to be. We both enjoyed our evening visits with Reggie, he was the most genuinely caring man we ever met, he treated us like family. Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Reggie was a special man who will be forever loved and remembered by the many people whose lives he touched. God bless you all.

To the Family of Reggie, our deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Charles and I camped on Lot 1 for a few years there. We quickly realized what a wonderful man he was. Enjoyed our time with him very much and have thought of him often as he also new my father whom passed away in 2011; therefore, I know what you are all going through. It is hard to lose a loved one especially when they are as kind as he was. He will be missed by many people. God Bless to you all.

When i was a child, in the 1960's, visiting my grandfathers camp on Stowe bay, my dad introduced me to Reggie Stowe. i assumed he was the mayor of Stowe Bay.
At some point. i figured out he was not the elected mayor, but that didn't matter.
We, the bay-people, were always excited to see his latest industrious project, respected his advice and knew he was looking out for us. He will be missed
