NORWOOD - Funeral services for Eugene S.DeOrazio of 31 Prospect Street, Norwood; will be held Monday at11Am at St. Anthonys Church in Schenectady New York
.Friends may call at the Bond Funeral Home in Schenectady at Broadway & Guilderland Avenue Sunday from 4-7. Burial will be in St. Cyril's Cemetery, Rotterdam. Mr. DeOrazio died Thursday at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Local arrangements are with the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.

He was pre-deceased by a daughter Bonnie Tessitore in 1983 and by Brothers Joseph, Theodore,William,Thomas, and Russell DeOrazio and by Sisters Francis Rossi, Anna Defelice, Julia Tedesco, and Dorothy Torrise.
Born in Schenectady,NY on 10/28/1917, son of Adam & Philomena DeOrio DeOrazio, he married Elizabeth Szabo on July 21, 1945. She died on August 30, 1992..He Graduated from Draper High School in 1936, played 3 varsity sports; soccer,baseball, and basketball and was awarded an athlethic scholarship upon graduation.
After graduation,he spent 2 years in the Civil ConservationCorps, serving in NY and Oregon.He was a WW II Veteran.
