NORFOLKFuneral services for 42 year old Daryll J. Spencer Sr., will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Burial will be held in the Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. MASSENA-- Memorial services for 42 year old Daryll J. Spencer Sr., a resident of Rt. 37, Massena, will be held in the spring. Burial will be held in the Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk. Daryll is survived by his children, Daryll Spencer Jr. and Makenzie Spencer, both of Salem, NY; his mother and step-father, Carol and Gary Hughes, Potsdam; his brothers Eric Hughes, Hopewell Junction, NY and Philip and Deanna Hughes, Antwerp; his sisters Denise and Ronnie Myers, Porter, TX; Danette Reniger, Battle Creek, MI; Amber Hughes, Potsdam; his step-mother, Sharleen Spencer, Havelock, NC; two half brothers, David Jr. and Kimmie and Donnie and Tasha and a half-sister, Crystal and Michael Spradlin, all of Havelock, NC as well as eight nieces and nephews. Daryll was pre-deceased by his father, David Spencer.
Born in Massena on May 29, 1972 to David Spencer and Carol Clark, he worked for the Local 370 Carpenters Union out of Albany as a carpenter. He enjoyed dirt bikes, cars and heavy metal music and tattoos. He was very talented woodworker and had the ability to whittle and carve wood. He enjoyed making them to give to his children. Daryll also had an infectious smile and had the ability to make people laugh. Memorial Donations in his memory can be made to a charity of ones choice.
