Obituary of Derek R. Sessions

NORFOLK—Funeral services for 40 year old Derek R. Sessions, 15 Remington Ave, Norfolk will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Knapps Station Community Church with Elder Harvey Smith presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mr. Sessions passed away early Saturday morning. Derek is survived by his wife, Tracy, a son, Derek and his daughter, Trinity, all of Norfolk; his parents, Gary & Lorraine, Knapps Station; his maternal grandmother, Irene Peters, Potsdam; his two sisters, Stacy Sessions, Potsdam and Keri Ann Sessions, Norwood. Born in Potsdam on June 4, 1974 to Gerald “Gary” and Lorraine Peters Sessions, he married Tracy Beckman on October 3, 1998. Derek worked as a heavy equipment operator for P.M. Savvy Inc., in Malone. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, snowmobiling, riding his BMC chopper, hanging out with his friends and most of all watching his children’s sporting events.
