Obituary of Dehn W. Firman

NORFOLK—Funeral services for 92 year old Dehn W. Firman, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk, with Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will take place in the Visitation Cemetery in Norfolk following the service. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Saturday. Mr. Firman passed away at his home in Norfolk where he was also born. Dehn is survived by a son, Robert & Charollotte (Kovich), Tacoma Washington and Norfolk, his 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 62 years Loretta, and his brothers, Floyd and Mark. Born in Norfolk on June 7, 1921 to the late Floyd and Laura (Spotswood) Firman. He married Loretta Gebo on August 10, 1942. Dehn served in the Army from 1942-1947. He worked for 31 years at Niagara Mohawk retiring in 1982.
