NORWOOD- Calling hours for 76 year old Sherry Ann LoBello, 30 Depot Street, Norwood, will be held Saturday from 12-3 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Sherry passed away at her home on Wednesday evening, surrounded by her family.
Sherry is survived by a son, Joseph Hicks and his companion Dayna Cole, Norwood; her two daughters, Yvonne Cuddy Allen & Charles Garlough, Norfolk and JoAnn LaShomb LoBello & Rick Martin, Norfolk. Sherry is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was pre-deceased by a son, Richard Hicks.
Born in Potsdam on May 4, 1937 to the late Rosemary E. Greenwood. Sherry was a waitress at various restaurants including the Sunset Lodge, Tardellis, The Potsdam Town and Country Club and the Good and Plenty. She also worked at the Olympics in Lake Placid, which she was proud of. Most recently, Sherry was a greeter at Walmart and volunteered as a driver for St. Lawrence County Social Services. She was of the Catholic faith, attending church at St. Marys in Potsdam. Sherry enjoyed crocheting afghans, flowers, her soap operas, camping and fishing.
