Doug Sherwood posted a condolence
My heartfelt condolences go out to not only the entire Fiacco family, but also to the large "family of friends" Danny was surrounded by.
Like my mother, I'm still having a very hard time accepting that Danny is gone. Having him as our next door neighbor at camp, virtually every fond memory I have of my time at Sterling includes Danny. My wife and young boys were all heart broken by the news as well. Danny was the most giving person I have ever known.
The pond will never be the same without you brother...
With deepest sympathy,
Doug, Sherry, Lindsey, Brady, and Dylan Sherwood

Sincerest condolences to the Fiacco family. We grew up with Danny and his brothers, Mike and Greg on Baldwin Ave and reconnected with him a few years ago. He grew into a wonderful man. My sisters, Wanda and Linda knew him better than I. He will be sorely missed.

Dear Greg and Family. So sorry to hear about Danny. I didn't know him all that well as he was a bit older than me, but if I happened to see him he was always very friendly. I remember very well that he used to ride a unicycle!(quite a talent) I'm pretty sure he taught my brother Kenny how to ride one!

Condolences to the Fiacco family. Danny was a wonderful friend and I appreciated all the help and time he gave my parents throughout the years but especially during the long hard winter months. Know that Danny is with our Savior Jesus Christ in a far better place. We will all see him again, God willing. Danny will truly be missed and the world is a sadder place without him. God Bless You in Your Loss

To all the Fiaccos, Where to start? Danny and I spent a lot of time together at the most important time of our lives. We roomed together at Pine Springs for two years, we had an apartment in Norwood together. Cooked a Chinese dinner for our parents! Spent time in the Adirnondacs near Paul Smiths. We were like brothers. I spoke to him the last time a few years ago, and as in the obituary, he wanted me to know he would be there to the end for me. What a man. Danny, let it be known that there are few human beings as whole and real as you. Rest in peace, brother. kp

I was very sad to learn that Dan had passed away. I worked with him at Nicholville Telephone Co. He was always the same, a kind, gentle, caring man. He would occasionally bring us in his homemade peanut butter fudge. It was delicious. May he rest in peace.

Greg and Nick,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I worked with your father for several years at the Nicholville Telephone Company. We had a lot of good laughs and he told some great stories. He used to bring me garlic every year that he grew and I always looked forward to his stuffed shells. He was a good guy and will be missed.
