Norwood--Funeral services for 64 year old Eileen M. Perry, of 381 Lakeshore Drive in Norwood will be held Tuesday at 11am at the Norwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Corettore and Rev. Kevin Stockwell. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Norwood. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mrs. Perry died Friday afternoon at Fletcher-Allen Medical Center in Burlington Vt.
She is survived by her husband Gordon Sr. Her son Gordon Jr. & Becky Perry;Norwood. Her daughters Valerie & David Mooney;Norwood, Tammy & Mark Donovan;Norwood, Kimberly & John LaShomb Sr.; Norfolk, and Denise & Albert Matthie; Norwood. Her brother Bernard & Barb Foster; Norwood. Her sister Roxanne Holsinger and her companion Wayne Merritt; Fulton. Her fourteen grandchildren; Christina Mooney; Jennifer Mooney; Angela Mooney; Nicole Donovan; Mark Donovan Jr.; Danielle Donovan; Brittany Donovan; Ashley Donovan; John LaShomb Jr.; Brandon LaShomb; Corey Matthie; Michael Matthie; Justin Perry; and Tyler Perry. She is pre-decesed by her brother Edward Foster, and her sister Beverly Colbert.
Born in Utica, NY on May 17, 1944, daughter of Jack & Theresa McEwen Foster, she married Gordon Perry on July 15, 1961. She was a domestic homemaker.
Eileen embraced life, cherishing her family and friends. Her world travels allowed her to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and her love of photography capturing life's precious moments. When in Norwood, she enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, knitting, crocheting, crafts, gardening, and caring for her pets.
She was an amazing woman, always taking care of others. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
