I am sad to hear of Mrs. Besaw's passing. She was an amazing lady and babysitter. She was one of my best friends growing up. I have such fond memories of her and loved her so much.

To the family of Sybil, my family knew her when we lived on Hull Street. We moved next to Sybil in 1977 with our daughter Angie, our son was born in 1980. Sybil was such a wonderful woman and loved the children on Hull Street. My daughter and friend Jennifer Sampier spent so much time with her. We left there in 1977 after (I believe she had left). Unfortunately, I did not find this out until today. She did so much for Colton and I have so many memories of her and sad to say we did not keep in touch. My best to the family and memories of knowing what a wonderful woman she was will be helpful.

Lois and family,
Sybil was such a terrific woman! She was a wonderful friend to the Colton Historical Society and spent many hours helping out. She did some wonderful interviews of folks in our community, which are very valuable to us.
We were very sorry when she moved away.
Condolences to you all from myself and members of the Colton Historical Society.
Cynthia Hennessy,
President CHS
