Obituary of Lloyd P. Jandreau

KNAPPS STATION—Funeral services for 79 year old Lloyd P. Jandreau, 3274 County Route 47, Norwood, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Knapps Station Community Church with Elder Kenneth Ashley presiding. Burial will be held in the Hale Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Knapps Station Community Church on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the funeral at 3 p.m. Mr. Jandreau passed away early Friday morning at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene; his sons, Lloyd E., Norwood; Andrew and Denise, Gouverneur; William and Cheryl, Syracuse; Mark, Massena; Roy and his fiancé Jennetta Wells, Gouverneur and Terry Jandreau, Scotia, NY. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, his 12 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Alex and Shirley Jandreau, Norwood; Kenneth and Gladys Jandreau, North Lawrence; Vernon and Frances Jandreau, Norwood and his sister, Pauline White, Norwood. Born in Norfolk on May 21, 1933 to Frank E. and Pauline Fredenburg Jandreau, he married Irene White on August 31, 1957. He worked as a laborer for Kraft Foods in Canton, NY. Lloyd was a member of the Knapps Station Community Church and enjoyed fishing and wood crafting. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
