Obituary of Patty Phelix

BEDFORD, INDIANA—Funeral services for 63 year old Patty Phelix, a resident of Bedford, Indiana, and formerly of Norfolk, will be held Thursday at 11 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mrs. Phelix passed away on January 23, 2013 at her home. Patty is survived by her husband Ronald, a son Ronald “Ronnie”, a daughter JoEllen Phelix and her companion John Peters; her five grandchildren, Chelsey Phelix, Cainin Behringer, Brenna Phelix, Nathan Majkowski, Ashton Peters and one great-granddaughter, Gabriela Poveda. Patty is also survived by her mother, Cora “Josie” Paige, Norfolk; a brother, Brad and Brenda Paige, South Colton and four sisters, Lynda and Paul Paige, Norfolk; Deborah Murray and her companion Teddy Mitchell, Nancy and Scott Hamilton and Norma and Frank Bregg, Waddington. Her mother-in-law, Agnes Phelix and her brother-in-law, Arthur Phelix survive Patty as well. Patty was pre-deceased by her father, Irving Paige and her sister, Mary Campbell. Born in Massena on October 17, 1949 to Irving and Cora “Josie” LaDue Paige, she married Ronald Phelix on June 27, 1970. Patty worked at for the food service at Central Foundry in Bedford, IN. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford. Memorial Donations can be made to the Indian University Health Bloomington Hospice, 619 W. 1st Street, Bloomington, IN.
