My wife, Aletha, and I were saddened to read of Betty's passing.Aletha and she were friends from junior high school on. Betty sang "The Lord's Prayer" at our wedding 60 years ago in the Norwood United Methodist Church. We enjoyed the time we spent with her and Lee. May she rest in eternal peace of her Lord.

I was proud to have had Betty as my mother-in-law for over three decades. If all mothers-in-law were like her, there would never have been any mom in law jokes. She and Lee always treated me as one of their own. I will miss her "perfect-pitch" singing voice, her love of nature and her crafting skills. One of my enduring memories is driving Betty and Marilee to work in downtown Cleveland and how much she "enjoyed" dodging the CTS buses. Goodbye, ma. Say hi to Lee for me.

Betty was one classy lady! I knew her as a musician, then later as a volunteer at UHH in Canton. I gave her a radio so she could listen to HER kind of music (good taste). I hope she enjoyed it after she left UHH for Malone. I shall always remember her.

Aunt Betty has been so special to me since I was a little girl. Maybe that's why it was so important to me that she sing at my wedding, and I can still hear her singing 'Ava Maria'. Her voice was unbelieveable! My condolences to her family. I wish John and I could be there with you to share your grief but more importantly to celebrate her life.

Aunt Betty, has given our family wonderful memories of her singing in choir and in family reunions, and in personal visits to her sister Alice.
We will always remember the fun we have had with her at our family cottage as well. So glad I had a nice 3 hour visit with her at the nursing home. Rejoice with her that she is in a better place and in fellowship with our Savior and Lord and all her relatives who have gone on before her.
