NORFOLKGraveside services for 80 year old Paul R. Tiernan, 45 County Route 44, Norfolk, will be announced at a later date in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk, with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Mr. Tiernan passed away Friday afternoon at his home.
Paul is survived by his two sons, Richard and Shelly Tiernan, Chase Mills; Mark Tiernan, Norwood; his daughter, Nancy Walker, Chase Mills; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Paul was pre-deceased by his wife Kay on August 31, 2012 and he was the last of his siblings.
Born in Syracuse on October 23, 1932 to the late Maylon and Ruth Griffin Tiernan, Paul married Kay Larabee on August 29, 1958. He was a self-employed dairy farmer and also drilled wells. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk and served in the U.S. Army Airborne during the Korean Conflict. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com.
