Obituary of James C. McKenna

NORWOOD—Funeral services for 81 year old James C. McKenna, a resident of the Maplewood Campus in Canton and formerly of Norwood, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy, presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. Mr. McKenna passed away early Friday morning at the Maplewood Campus. James is survived by his brother Joseph and Mary McKenna, Norwood; a sister-in-law Patricia Anne McKenna, Rochester and several nieces and nephews. James was pre-deceased by his brother John McKenna and a sister Patricia McGinnis. Born in Norwood on January 13, 1931 to the late George and Elizabeth Hurley McKenna, he worked as a Bank Examiner for American Express in N.Y. City. James moved from Florida to Norwood in 2005.
