Obituary of David H. Gregg

COLTON—There will be no funeral services or calling hours for 72 year old David H. Gregg Sr., 5045 State Highway 56, Colton. David’s wish was to have a private service at a later date. David passed away early Sunday morning at his home. David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith “Judy”, Colton and his two sons, David H. Gregg Jr. and his daughter Madison Gregg, Hannawa Falls; and Brian and Krissy Gregg and their children Nic and Morgan Gregg, Potsdam. David is also survived by his brother Raymond Gregg Jr., St. Jermaine, Wisconsin. David was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother, Gerald K. Gregg. Born in Massena on June 9, 1940 to the late Raymond E. and Edith L. Dishaw Gregg, he married Judith L. Sullivan on May 8, 1965. He worked for Clarkson University as the Grounds Supervisor and equipment operator for 29 years, retiring in 1998. David was a member of the Potsdam Elks Lodge, the Parishville Amvets and the Trials End Club, South Colton. He was a past member of the Sampson Pond Club, Cranberry Lake. David had a love of the outdoors, spending time hunting ,fishing and going to camp and enjoyed spending time with his family.
