COLTON Madeline F. Rose, age 103, a resident of the United Helpers Maplewood Campus, Canton and formerly of Colton, died Monday at Maplewood Campus. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Bayshore, Long Island. Arrangements are with the Buck Funeral Home in Colton.
Surviving are a daughter Virginia and James Cayey of Colton. She is also survived by four nephews.
Born in South Haven, New York; daughter of Maurice and Viola Griffing French, she married John A. Rose in May of 1932. He died on August 19, 1991.She was a homemaker and belonged to the Bayshore Historical Society and Bayshore Congregational Church.
