My deepest condolences to the Kissam family.
I had the privilege to work under Walt at Chas. H. Sells. Walt was a great surveyor and mentor. I truly learned a lot from him.
He was also a phenomenal draftsman, baffled my mind how he never moved the map and could draft upside down and backwards and you couldn't tell he did. He was also very modest, said his mother was far better than he was.
I even had the fortune of meeting his daughter Kathy, so much like Walt.
He is a much missed presence in our lives.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Kissam's passing. I have fond memories about both he and Lillian living next door to my Mom. They were both such smiley people who were kind and sincere. I see how these traits were passed on to the rest of the family. Take comfort that you are in many people's thoughts at this time.
