NORFOLKFuneral services for 59 year old Ross S. Germano, 8 Adams Road, Norfolk, will be held Saturday at 1 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow presiding. Burial will be held in Raymondville Cemetery. Family and friends can call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mr. Germano passed away Tuesday at the Fletcher-Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT.
Ross is survived by his fiancé Jacki Ezyk, Norfolk; a son Matthew Germano, Raymondville and his two daughters, Kristie Germano, Norwood and Britnie and Tom Cota, Raymondville and his five grandchildren. Ross is also survived by his brothers Dominic and Lola Germano, Raymondville; Tony and Nancy Germano, Raymondville and his sister, Katie and Gene Zych, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. Ross was pre-deceased by his brother Sam and a sister Rose Love.
Born in Potsdam on July 4, 1951 to the late Antonio and Anna Trimboli Germano, he married Barbara Debien on July 14, 1979. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years, lastly, in Potsdam. Presently, he was employed at the Potsdam Wal-Mart. He was an avid sports fan, watching basketball and playing ball in the Old Timers Softball League.
