Barb, Greg, Brian & families,
I'm saddened to hear of Ed's sudden passing. Having grown up in the neighborhood with your family, I saw him as a gentleman & a great person. Besides meaning so much to your family, he meant so much & did so much for the Norfolk community, as also mentioned by so many other well wishers. May the many memories you have for him help to lessen the pain you feel at this difficult time. My thoughts and best wishes are with you & your families.

To Barb & her Family
I'm saddened to hear of Ed passing. I graduated from SUNY Canton in 1954 with Ed and over the years as Class Reunion chairperson have had the pleasure to speak with him over the years. He was a TG Fraternity brother, a fellow Varisty Ski Team member, a member of our Varsity Club and also one of our candidates for the 1954 Winter Carnival King. One could see at that time that he would shine in his community.

I couldn't believe it when I read it because I just saw him Wednesday night shopping at wal-mart. Ed would always say hi and I remember him as the town supervisor and he was the best. My mother said she just saw him at the hockey game. He will be deeply missed. My prayers are with you. Bill

I was shocked to hear of Ed's passing as I am sure many were. We had a very nice conversation Friday night at the High school hockey game and as always we talked about Norfolk.
Nobody loved Norfolk more than Ed did and very few have done as much for his community as he did.
As a new Town Supervisor Ed was most helpful and always willing to offer encouragement.
I will miss him greatly as will many in the Community.
My thoughts are with you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I worked with him and then for him in the Planning Department at Niagara Mohawk. He made it possible for me to become the first women planner in Potsdam. Because of Ed I was able to support my family earning a good wage. Barb you can take comfort in the fact that he talked about you often at work and truly loved you and his children. I will be thinking of all of you at this difficult time,

I offer my condolences to Ed's family. I worked closely with Ed at Nimo and shared the office adjacent to him. I remember great conversations and sharing a good laugh. Ed and I even did some skating for exercise just prior to my departure for the west. Surely Ed will be missed by family and the community as well. I will be thinking of you!
