NORWOODFuneral services for 86 year Emmaline L. Schiavone, 25 Ridge Street, Norwood, will be held Tuesday at 12 noon at St. Andrews Church in
Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor, presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the funeral at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Mrs. Schiavone passed away late Saturday night at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Mrs. Schiavone is survived by two sons, Ralph and Lee Schiavone, Walden, NY and Eugene and Georgia Schiavone, Parishville. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Ashley Schiavone, William Schiavone, Emma Schiavone, her brother Roland LaBarge, Tupper Lake and her two sisters, Edna Degone and Jeannette Bourdage, both of Tupper Lake.
Born in Tupper Lake on January 30, 1924 to the late William and Isabell Amell LaBarge, she married Ralph Schiavone on October 5, 1943. He passed away on November 11, 1989. She worked as a cashier for Clarkson University in the Food Service Department and as a local waitress. Previously, she worked in Tupper Lake at the Oval Wood Dish Company for many years. She was a member of St. Andrews Church in Norwood and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a involved with the Norwood Golden Agers and was a volunteer for the Norwood Lake Regatta.
