Obituary of Lorena H. Matthie

WEST POTSDAM-- Funeral services for 77 year old, Lorena Helen Matthie of 2123 County Rt. 35, will be held Monday at 2p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton, with Rev. Edwin Wright presiding. Burial will be held in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Colton. Calling hours will be held Monday from 11a.m. until the time of the funeral. Lorena passed away Thursday at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, in Ogdensburg. Lorena is survived by her sons Robert Matthie Jr., West Potsdam, Gary Matthie, West Potsdam, Timothy Marlin, Connecticut, John Moore Jr., Rensselaer Falls, Terry Matthie, Albany, her daughters Donna Matthie, Depeyster and Linda Ward, South Colton, her brothers Thomas Irish, West Parishville, Frank Fisher, South Colton and George Fisher, Colton and her sisters Bernice Westerdick, Colton, Gaila Cole, North Lawrence, Marleen Irish, West Potsdam, Dorothy Gilbert, Potsdam and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughters Lorena and Barbara Matthie. Born in South Colton on August 17, 1933 to Henry Irish Sr. and Zelia Fisher, a marriage to Robert Matthie Sr. ended in divorce.
