COLTON– Funeral services for 83 year old Betty F. Watson, 8 Spring Street, Colton, will be held Saturday at 10 am at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. A spring burial will be held in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Colton. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mrs. Watson passed away Wednesday morning. Betty is survived by a son William, Colton; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Elizabeth Stanley, Shelbyville, IL, Mrs. Gilbert Calista Sochia, Hopkinton and Mrs. Roy Deborah Graves, Pierrepont and eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Born on April 24, 1926 to the late William J. and Calista Adams Fyffe, she married Wilbur L. Watson. Wilbur passed away in July of 1957. She worked as a house cleaner for various business and homes in the Colton area, retiring from the Diocese of Ogdensburg. Betty enjoyed her puzzles and making to-do-lists for her family whom she loved to spend time with. Memorial Donations can be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
