Norfolk-- Funeral services for 80 year old Pearl E. Molnar, of the Highland Nursing Home and formerly of 21 Furnace Street, Norfolk, will be held Wednesday at 10 am at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, and Rev. Edward Papp, her brother, presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Mrs. Molnar passed away early Saturday morning at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena.
Survivors-- Sons-- Gary, Oklahoma City, OK.; Eric and Joanne, Norfolk; Daughters-- Mrs. Robert Donna Ceurvorst, Lisle, Illinois; Ethel Houghton, Plattsburgh; Mrs. Randy Ann Leiptz, Elgin Illinois; Mrs. Sheridan Lisa Lam, Naperville, Illinois; 8 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers-- Julius Papp, Norfolk; Charles and Luly Papp, Richville, Rev. Edward Papp, Bombay; Sister-- Mary Molnar, Massena. She was pre-deceased by her husband on May 2, 2008 and a grandchild Rachael Ceurvorst.
Born in Norfolk on September 13, 1927 to Julius and Ethel Nagy Papp Sr., she worked as a secretery at the Pentagon in Washington in her earlier years. She married William F. Molnar on October 24, 1950. He passed away on May 2, 2008. She was a member of the Seaway Valley Right to Life, and was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
