POTSDAM - Funeral services for 39 year old Michael J. Green of 31 Root Road, Potsdam; will be held Thursday at 4PM at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton. Friends may call at the funeral home in Colton Thursday from 2-4.Mr. Green died Sunday at his home. Spring burial will be in Pleasant Mound Cemetery in Colton.
Surviving are his companion Laura Hager of Potsdam; his mother Jean and Donald Dillon of Hannawa Falls; one son, Christopher; three step-sons, Lucas Hager and Jerry Hager of Potsdam; and Jason and Angel Bourcier of Missouri. He is also survived by one step-daughter Teresa and Tyler Sader of Germany.Also surviving are two brothers; David and Jennifer Green of Hannawa Falls,Francis and Bailey Green of Potsdam; two sisters, Valerie and Casey McCarhty of Colton, Kimberly Sotherden and companion Hal Pryor of North Syracuse and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Potsdam on June 15, 1970, son of Donald and Jean Johnson Green.He was employed in construction and at Woodruff Block before becoming disabled.He enjoyed being around family and friends, playing cards, fishing, and hunting.Donations may be made to the Potsdam Animal Shelter.Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.buckfuneralhome.com.
