COLTON Funeral services for 77 year old Lyle A. McCuen, will be held Wednesday at 3 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. William Huckle presiding. Burial will take place in the White Church Cemetery in Crary Mills. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Wednesday from noon until the time of the funeral. Mr. McCuen passed away Sunday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Olive of Colton, his step-sons, Loran and Patricia Wright, Canton and James Wright, Colton, his Step-daughters, Laura and James Ryan, Colton and Marie and Ray Mudge, Colton and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Carson McCuen of Crary Mills. He was pre-deceased by his brother Leo and his sisters Rose Ayers, Betty McCuen and Dorothy Bohnet.
Born in Parishville on August 8, 1932 to the late Roy and Ruby Cassellman McCuen, he married Olive M. Clark on March 18, 1989. He worked as a truck driver and plow operator for the Village of Potsdam for 23 years, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed outdoor activities and hunting.
