Dear Mr. & Mrs. McCarthy:
I am secretary to the principal at Seaway Tech in Norwood. When Jesse worked here as a teaching assistant, he and I talked quite a bit, and quickly became friends. I found Jesse to be a wonderfully warm, kind and fun person. He was also very mature for his years, and was a great role model for our students.
Jesse and I shared some fun times together, and also shared the sudden loss of our auto collisin teacher. At that time, we cried together and supported each other. He was a "rock" for me.
I have missed Jesse so much since he left Seaway Tech. His smile was contagious!!! But, I did look forward to his occasional phone calls to catch up on what he was doing.
I will miss Jesse dearly; miss hearing from him. He will always have a special place in my heart.
You were extremely fortunate to have a son like Jesse, and I'm sure you were very proud of him, with every reason to be.
If there is anything that I or the Seaway Tech staff can do to help ease your pain, please do not hesitate to call. (353-2293) We are not very far away.
I am so very, very sorry.
Sinerely,
Gail Jenkins
