Nancy & Patsy,
I was so saddened when I heard about Frank. He had so much to give and it ended too soon. He was always generous and kind. He was someone many of us looked up to and someone I've often emulated.
He left us too soon...

Just wanted to write to you and let you know how much Frank meant to me as a member of AA. Frank came into the program 3 years after I did and I believe would have celebrated 20 years this year. I have been disabled awhile now but still work at Rose Hill in Massena. I am the one who called Frank to get help when one of the girl patients fell off the falls at Stone Valley. Thank you to the sister who helped us that day. I used to celebrate, then a year behind was a fellow named Rick, then a lady named Sue, and then the following year Frank. We used to pass our medallions on to the next person when we got our new ones. Frank was a kind, peaceful, gentle man who will be missed by all he knew. Hopefully he is now getting some peace he obviously was not feeling in this world. My prayers are with all of you. Fondly, Bonnie B.

Patsy and Nancy, My deepest condolences on the loss of your brother. May you be consoled by the memories you have of him and may you see him again in heaven. Although I was older Frank's name was often mentioned in our house - with respect and admiration. I see that family continues to be important to the Lenny's. May this help you through this difficult time.

In deepest sympathy to the family and close friends of Frank Lenney. On many a Sunday morning Frank would be the first person I saw in South Colton. To me he was a sweet, kind, dear man and always brought me great comfort. I am very sad that he won't be greeting me there any more and I will truly miss him. I hope you all find some peace in the happy memories you have of Frank and are able to comfort each other.

My sympathies go out to your family for your loss. I graduated from Harrisville Central School in 1975. I was the golie for our soccer team. we were 12 and 4 that year with 2 losses to Frank Lenney and his team. I had a chance to talk with him after the games, he was always a fierce competitor, but always a nice guy, and talented athlete. He was twice the size of me but he always acted as a gentleman to me. He never acted as if he were better, I learned alot from him and often thought of him when working with young kids in soccer. He will be missed. Just wanted to share with you. I will be 52 tomorrow, Sept. 4 We will keep your family in our prayers.

What a shock. My prayers go out to all of Frank's family and friends. I went to school with Frank from Kindergarden through graduation with the class of 75 and will always remember the fun times we had. Especially our undefeated soccer season with him in as our goalie. I Think he would have rather eaten the ball than let it get by him. Hope the love of friends and family eases the pain.

I extend my deepest sympathy to you for your loss. I have worked on a weekly basis with Frank for several years. We always enjoyed talking about hunting and fishing and many of the goings on in the world around us. He often spoke of his family and was especialy proud of his nieces nephews. Last night working in the yard was really not the same without him, being out there. He was very well liked and respected by all his co-workers. The inmates under his charge always treated him with respect and new him to be a just and fair Program Leader, I am sure they will miss him as much as his friends.
Respectfully Joe Turner A friend of Franks.

Frank and I went to school together. We shared almost every grade and class. He was always fun to be around and had a great personality. While we grew apart after school I was always glad to see Frank when our paths would cross. I will miss him as I know you will too. I guess it's best to just remember the good times and forget the rest. I know it hurts now but God has ways of bringing us through and uses time to soften the pain. Look to Jesus and trust in Him and he will do the rest John 3:16
Together in sorrow, and yet looking to Jesus in Hope,
