RAYMONDVILLE - Funeral services for 85 year old Adelphine "Del" Agen, a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home and formerly of Raymondville; will be held Saturday 10AM at St. Raymonds Church in Raymondville with Rev.Andrew Amyot, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery in Norfolk. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk Friday from 2-4 and 7-9.
Surviving are her son, Robert Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Agen of Massena; Two daughters; Nancy and her husband Duane Richards; and Carla Snell; both of Massena.;Seven Grandchildren,8 Grandchildren,One sister; Joyce and her husband Edward Saber of Raymondville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by a brother Daniel Sharlow and a sister Jacqueline Planty.
Born in Ogdensburg on November 4, 1923, daughter of Daniel and Eva Gladding Sharlow, she married Robert W. Agen Sr. on August 19, 1942. He died on April 16, 1988.She was employed at Ran Bodahs Dinner in Raymondville and also was manager of the Massena High School Cafeteria from 1978 to 1993.
She was a communicant of St. Raymonds Church, a member of it's Altar and Rosary Society, a member of the Norfolk American Legion Auxillary and a member of the Massena and Akwesasne Senior Citizens. She loved to go to the Casino.
