So many happy childhood memories shared as cousins - jumping in the hay loft, running from the bull in the pasture, making homemade ice cream - treasured, joyous times. As an adult he always remembered his Aunt Marge and Uncle Dick with kindnesses. Bill will be missed. Our thoughts are with his family. Much love, Elaine and Bob

To the Family of Bill,
My wife Faith (Burns) Pipher and I worked with Bill at the USDA office in Canton. Bill was one of the good guys. He was always happy, friendly and loved to eat at the salad bar at McCarthy's.
We were eating lunch one day with Charlie Colbert, Faith, Bill and I when Bill began choking on an orange. I was able to perform the Heimlich maneuver and save Bill from choking. I beleive that was in 1987 or 1988. Anyway, at our (Faith and I eventually dated and married) going away party, Bill got up told everyone about it and gave me a hug. I never forgot that and how fortunate I was able to help such a great guy. I will always remember him fondly.
