Obituary of Arthur Keith Johnson

COLTON– Funeral Services for 88 year old Arthur Keith Johnson, of 40 Symonds Square, Colton, will be held Wednesday at 3:30 at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. Edwin Wright presiding. Private Burial will be held in Stark Cemetery, South Colton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 1 until the time of the funeral. Mr. Johnson passed away early Friday morning at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Mollie of the United Helpers Nursing Home, Canton, a daughter Christine Mitchell, Brewerton, NY, two step-sons, James and Virginia Cayey, Colton and George and Penny Cayey, Moravia, NY and two step-daughters, June Cayey and her husband James Socci, Auburn, NY and Linda Cayey, Carthage, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a brother Herbert and a step-sister Jean Ullenberg. Born in Canton on February 27, 1921 to Mitchell and Clara Austin Johnson, he married Mollie Janes on January 28, 1967 in the South Colton Community Church by Rev. Harold Beaudry. He was self employed as a farmer and plumber. He was a communicant of the South Colton Community Church. He was a member of the Senior Racqueteer’s and the French Lake Outing Club.
