I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a nice person and I'll always remember how gentle she seemed. Our parents were such good friends back in the day so I hope they've met again up yonder.

To my dear cousins and Uncle Jim,
I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Jean's passing. Most of my happiest childhood memories were of the summers spent in Norwood with all of you on the 4th of July. Then, we would load up the cars and go to the camp on Lake Ozonia with all the Cotey cousins. One of my mother's favorite stories was of the time your mom baked a blackberry pie and set it on the window at camp to cool. Of course, along came a hungry bear, knocking on the door. I am pretty sure Aunt Jean got the better of him! She was a formidable person - fun, athletic, and such a great mom - she was one of my favorite aunts. She will be missed, but forever in my heart. Love, Joanne
